Lemon Bread

Andrea's Lemon Bread
  • 1-3/4 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 t. baking powder
  • 2 t. lemon peel, finely shredded
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 T. lemon juice

Mix together first 5 ingredients. In a large bowl beat egg, milk, oil, & lemon juice. Add flour mixture to egg/lemon mixture, stirring just until moistened. Turn into 2 greased 6x3x2 loaf pans or 1 large loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until done. Cool 10 min. on rack & remove from pans. Enjoy!
