I've always been a sports fan--good grief, I'm related to Judy Queen, aren't I?--but I've never had a Venezuelan team. Well, now I'm a Tigres de Aragua fan!!! They demolished the Magallanes last night in an awesome comeback. They were down in the 9th 10-3 and they came back and beat the Navegantes 11-10. Wow! We were excited around here!!! Go Venezuela in La Serie del Caribe!

Yeah...well...um....The Cardenales are like hallacas! They always start out SOOO good the first of December, but not so good by the end!!!!
That's SOOOOOOO true about hallacas...I had a friend make me a batch this year--70 some-odd. Turns my stomach to think of it even yet... No allusion to the CL's at all!
